Solent Interior Systems offer a 'suite' solution to InterContinental London Park Lane face lift
Solent Interior Systems (SIS) has just completed the fit out of the exclusive Club Intercontinental lounge and four new fabulous signature suites for the newly reopened InterContinental London Park Lane.
These new suites, each with a unique design, offer a choice of ultra luxurious apartments in London's West End, while the club lounge boasts panoramic views of London's historic skyline, including Buckingham Palace and Wellington Arch.
As part of a £76M investment to refurbish one of London's finest five star hotels, SIS were selected by the main contractor following a competitive tendering process involving several top UK fit-out companies.
SIS were chosen not only for their cost effective approach but also for the proposed Project Team's involvement and experience on the delivery of high quality luxury hotel and residential interiors - a fundamental requirement from InterContinental Hotels Group in maintaining the pursuit of excellence within the hospitality and leisure market.
The SIS package was offered as a complete turn-key fit-out of the areas involved, which comprised of taking empty shells and transforming them into luxurious seven star standard living and recreational areas.
The works, Project Managed by Barry Couzens and Julie Couch of SIS, involved the formation of walls, ceilings, floors and all associated finishes, including some very high quality bespoke joinery, bathroom formation and Club InterContinental features, which revolve around an impressive stone and marble food display and bar.
Other interesting design features in the club lounge include a library area, custom leather upholstered seating, business area and leather clad plasma screen viewing wall, whilst one of the suites boast a stunning timber and stainless steel staircase with mezzanine floor and a self-contained cinema room.

The success of these works has offered InterContinental Hotels Group a uniquely superior and highly individual facility, featuring stunning signature suites and an exclusive club lounge, that far exceed the normal five star hotel standards.
